In Corvara, at 1.700 meters altitude, on the hilly meadows of Tranrüs you will find the Golf Club Alta Badia. This 9-hole-course, from where you have an amazing sight on the Sassongher, is open from June to October, it features a clubhouse, a putting green and a driving range.

Activity and Emotions in Winter

Corvara is the cradle of winter tourism, and there is a reason for it: the first ski lift in Italy was built in Corvara in 1938, it was called "Slittovia Col Alto", and later, in 1946 it became a chair lift, the first one in Italy.
Here in Alta Badia a wide ski area awaits you, which is situated between 1.300 and 2.778 meters above sea level and offers therefore the best skiing conditions from December to April. 53 modern ski lifts, 130 km of perfectly groomed ski slopes, the central location with direct connection to the Sella Ronda ski tour and to the world's largest ski carousel "Dolomiti Superski" make Alta Badia to one of the most popular ski resorts in the world.

The ice rink is located right near the Boé cable car. Allow yourself a few hours of leisure and movement while skating with your friends. The skates can be rented directly at the stadium.

Alta Badia ski area includes 130 km of slopes and is also well connected to some of the other 12 ski areas of the Dolomiti Superski.
