Albert Mellauner, born in Rina (Val Badia) in 1947
Lecturer at the art school in Ortisei (Gröden)
Magistero d'Arte in Venice and Florence
Research in the context of the abstract geometry of the European avant-garde, he designed numerous public works, such as the windows in the foyer of the South Tyrolean state parliament in Bolzano, the outer facade of the Regina Pacis church in Bolzano, the design and painting of the Holy Door (entrance to the Cathedral of Bressanone).
Works of art in Alta Badia: design & painting of the windows and the walls in the little chapel of Colfosco.
